Q. When will I get my order?
A. For U.S. customers:
You can expect to receive your order in about two weeks (10 business days) if you order online and ship to the U.S. with standard shipping. We create unique, customized printed products just for you, using your words and instructions. No two items are alike because each one is a work of art created for you by a specialized typography artist. In 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays) the items on your order are created by a skilled designer, proofed by a second designer, proofs are created and emailed to you (for most orders), any needed changes are made, your items are printed, quality checked, cut into sheets and/or sets, and carefully packed for shipping. Your order will arrive between 1 and 5 business days after we ship (Monday-Friday excluding holidays), depending on your location and the shipping method you select.
A. For Canadian customers:
You can expect to receive your order in 3 to 4 weeks (12-16 business days) if you order online with standard (non-rush) processing. This represents 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays) for creating and printing your order before shipping, plus 7-9 business days for transportation to your location. Most orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International. Orders to some Canadian addresses are shipped via UPS Expedited Service and arrive 2 to 2-1/2 weeks after we ship. Please be aware that you may need to retrieve your package at Canada Post if it was shipped by Priority Mail International. Also note that all packages are subject to taxes ranging from 7 to 14% of the value of the package (see Canada additional shipping & customs) in addition to an international handling fee. The brokerage fee on UPS Expedited is included in the shipping cost.
A. For other international customers:
You can expect to receive your order in about 3 to 4 weeks if you order online with standard (non-rush) processing. Please allow 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays) for creating and printing your order before shipment. Shipments are by UPS Expedited Services and USPS Priority Mail International. Orders destined for Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South America, Mexico, and Caribbean countries arrive about 12 business days after we ship. Orders destined for the Western Pacific and Asia arrive about 14 business days after we ship.
Q. I am in a super rush!! How do I get my order FAST??
A. Follow BOTH of the steps below to get your order as quickly as possible:
Step One
Click on "RUSH my order!" on the Checkout Page. We will print and ship your order the next business day (Monday - Friday excluding holidays) after the date you place your order. The rush charge is an additional 50% of your total, which will show on the final checkout Shipping Page, and on your email receipt. When you place a rush order, we create and print your order ahead of all non-rush orders. We focus whatever resources and staff time are necessary to ensure that your order is created, proofed, printed, collated, proofed again, cut, packaged, and shipped in one business day. Please bear in mind that Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are not business days. Sorry, no proofs, spell checks, or special requests (such as adding art or changing colors) on rush orders. There are no refunds on rush orders.
Step Two
Select Next Day Air or 2-Day Express shipping. If you select rush but do not select fast shipping, your order will ship via UPS Ground (2-6 business days). Be sure to allow for the fact that Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays do not count as shipping days. Sorry, we cannot offer next day or two-day shipping for orders to addresses outside of the U.S.

Standard delivery for under one pound to Canada, Mexico, and Caribbean countries is $18 (7-12 days), $22 to Europe (7-12 days), Australia, New Zealand, and South America, and $28 to some Western Pacific and Asia locations (10-14 days). Be aware that there may be a customs or duty charge when you pick up your package. My Own Labels cannot be responsible for customs or duty charges.
A. Additional shipping costs for Canada - customs, taxes, and fees
Please be aware that you may need to retrieve your package at Canada Post if it was shipped by Priority Mail International. Any international package, including from the US, handled by Canada Post carries with it an obligatory $5 handling fee. Please note that all packages are subject to customs ranging from 7 to 14% of the value of the package (see When will I get my order?). Depending on the size and weight of the package, UPS may charge a $5 brokerage or handling fee in addition to taxes, upon delivery. For more information on brokerage fees, call UPS Canada at 1-800-742-5877. When you call they may ask you the weight of your package; most packages we send are under a pound.
Those owning businesses in Canada who are purchasing for resale pay 7% GST (Goods and Services Tax) on the cost of the products (not shipping) as required by the CRA. If you are an individual purchasing for personal use, the CRA imposes a 7% GST in addition to another 7% PST (Provincial Sales Tax). According to NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Canadians do not pay duties on items purchased from businesses residing in the United States. Duties are separate from the GST and PST.
Q. Will you ship to a post office box?
Yes, shipments to P.O. boxes and APO/FPO addresses will be sent by USPS priority mail. |
