DIY Halloween Cupcake Toppers

Halloween is my all-time favorite holiday. I love the candy, the costumes, the decorations and pumpkins, but most of all- I love the parties. I like to plan and host small get-togethers with friends any time of year, but what better excuse to throw a party than Halloween. My favorite part of party planning is deciding on the menu and making simple crafty decorations to match. This year I’ve decided to serve cupcakes for dessert and decorate them with these fun cupcake toppers.

When hosting any party, I want the preparations to be fun and stress-free. Adding simple touches like these cupcake toppers is easy and your guests will love them too! I used sandwich toothpicks (which are longer than the normal toothpicks) with my own custom scallop tag that says, “Happy Halloween”. Using an 1/8″ hole punch, I made another hole at the bottom of the tag and fed the toothpick through both holes. And that’s it! Poke them into your favorite homemade or store-bought cupcakes and your desserts are ready to enjoy!
