Favor Friday: S’mores!

With summer in full swing, the season of outdoor entertaining is here! Whether you’re hosting your neighborhood block party, summer birthday or outdoor wedding, these cute S’more kits make the best favors! Pass them out to your guests, get the campfire crackling and the marshmallows roasting! If you happen to have a backyard fire pit, they can use their favor at the party or save it for another summer evening by the campfire.

What you need:
- Marshmallows
- Graham Crackers (I like to use cinnamon!)
- Chocolate Bars
- Cellophane Bags
- Rafia or twine
- Personalized favor tag

These favors are super easy to whip up! Just gather your supplies and assemble. I gave each favor bag enough fixings to make two s’mores. I tied up my bags using rafia and small diamond hang tags in the style Sugar Pine.

  1. Can you please tell me where you got the basket you show in the photo with the DIY smores favors…I would like to do the same for my son’s Eagle Court of Honors Ceremony…I love the basket and cannot find one like it… thanks, Michele

  2. Hi Michelle! Jeanne found the basket for a few dollars at a flea market, but you can go to

to find something similar online. The Longaberger baskets on this website are beautifully made, by hand, the same way they have been made for the last 100 years.

  3. I know this is an old article, but what size bags did you use?
