To provide affordable short-run custom printing, we guarantee close, but not exact, colors - if you need an exact color match, please mail us a sample of the color, or give us a Pantone color number to match to. We will come as close as possible for a one-time fee of $15.

If for any reason you are dissatisfied, email us within 30 days or return the items (for free) within 30 days. Please include a note explaining the reason for the return. We'll be happy to either correct and reprint your order, refund your purchase price - excluding shipping charges, or give you a store credit for a future purchase. You will be refunded the purchase price of returned items after we receive them. If you return your order and request that we reprint (with changes/corrections), you would pay only for shipping. If we have made a mistake, we'll reprint and ship at no charge. Your replacement order will be expedited to get it to you as quickly as possible.

…affordable short-run printing…

To make the small quantities that we produce at a cost that is affordable, we do not engrave metal plates, do press checks, or offer custom mixed inks.

Our presses are calibrated every day, but many factors affect the printing, including changes in humidity and air temperature, age of consumable press parts, temperature of the press, and whether the job is at the beginning of a run or at the end. We check hourly and adjust continually to maintain the colors within a small, specified range.

…close, but not exact, color…

If you want to match a color you are using in your event, please mail us a color swatch. We can get very close to the color, but cannot guarantee an exact match due to differences between our process and how the color was achieved on your swatch. Please note that for orders with special requests such as color changes, we cannot offer rush processing. Special requests take time.

…if you are not happy with your order…

Email us within 30 days or return the items within 30 days. Please include a note explaining the reason for the return. We'll be happy to either correct and reprint your order, refund your purchase price (excluding shipping charges), or provide you with a store credit to be used in the future.

We refund the purchase price of returned items when we receive them. If you return your order and request that we reprint (with changes/corrections), you would pay only for shipping. If we have made a mistake we'll reprint and ship at no charge. Your replacement order will be expedited to get it to you as quickly as possible. If the mistake is yours, we will reprint at 50% of cost, plus shipping.

Sorry, we can't refund rush orders, special requests, or orders held for more than 30 days. There is also no refund if the problem is with your data entry - misspelled or inaccurate wording, or poor quality images.

…we reprint at no charge…

  • if it is our error, miscount, etc. We will rush printing and shipping to get it to you as quickly as possible.
  • to change the color. If you need an exact color match, the color match charge of $15 will be applied. If you need it to match a previous order, send in a sample of the previous order. We will come as close as possible although we cannot guarantee an exact match of a previous order. There is no color match charge for this. You will receive a refund of your original order when we receive it.
  • if you didn't receive your package. First, we check with UPS and USPS, and ask you to double-check all possible hiding places and check with other members of your household, neighbors, etc. Then if the package does not turn up, we will reprint and ship to you as quickly as possible.

With reprints, we rush printing and shipping at no extra charge to you if it is needed in time for an event. If your reprint must be rushed for an event and there is no time to return the original order, the charge will be applied to your card and we will ship you the replacements. Then we will credit your card for the original order when we receive the returned items. We do not refund shipping charges.

…we will refund your purchase price if you wish…

  • on regular orders (not special requests) if you contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. We do not refund shipping charges.
  • if the shape or style does not work with your plan. You will need to place a new order; you will receive a refund of your original order when we receive it.
  • if you do not like your order for any reason, including color, shape, font, the way the letters look, etc., you may return the order (or part of the order). When we receive it, we will credit your charge card. We do not refund shipping charges.
  • Your purchase price will be credited to the charge card used to place the order. We refund within one business day after your order arrives at My Own Labels, but keep in mind it may take the bank several days to process the refund and for this reason it may be several days before the refund shows on your account.

…there is no refund on…

  • shipping charges.
  • orders if it has been more than 30 days after you received it.
  • rush orders. Because you need it quickly, there is no time to make a proof, ask you questions, or wait for your response. We must bump your rush order to the head of the line and set up the press especially for your order. We do our very best to make it look great, but we can't give refunds on rush orders.
  • special request orders, including font changes, color changes, and special request art or photos. Special requests take time. We do our very best to create a product that looks as good as possible using your instructions.
