How do I place an order?

 

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS:

Start at the home page, www.myownlabels.com, by choosing a category: wedding, food/craft, beer/drink, wine/drink, bottled water, CDs, cards, or bookplates. The instructions on each page will help you choose a style, then shape, then color, then words for your label, tag, coaster, or card. Place your item in your shopping cart. You can go back to do more shopping or go directly to checkout, where you will complete the steps to place your order online. If you want to order via fax or mail, print out the Order Page form and the Checkout Shipping Page form, and fax it or mail it with a check or credit card information. Sorry, we cannot accept orders over the phone. Please note that fax and mail orders will be processed AFTER payment is received.

 

Q. Can I order just a small quantity?
A. Yes! You can order a single sheet of labels, tags or bookplates, or a single set of 24 coasters, note cards, or place cards, or one set of 10 CD labels.

ORDERING BY MAIL OR FAX

If you choose to order by mail or fax, print out copies of the Order Page for each item and a copy of the checkout shipping information page. Please be sure to send us the following information for each item: 1) the item code and/or a complete description of the item, 2) the quantity desired from the "How Many?" drop-down window, 3) the text to be printed in each of the available text areas, and 4) your special requests and instructions, if any. The Shipping Page needs to show your shipping address, the shipping method chosen, your email address (if you would like to receive email notice that your proofs are ready), and your phone number, so that we can contact you if there are any questions. You may mail a check for payment, or call or fax your credit card information. We will begin processing your order once payment has been received.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:

1. On the home page (www.myownlabels.com or www.myweddinglabels.com), click on an item or area of interest: wedding labels, food/craft labels, beer/drink labels, wine/drink labels, CD labels, bookplates, hang tags, coasters, place cards, note cards, or bottled water (for bottled water, the order of the steps is slightly different, but the general process is the same).

2. On the page that comes up, click on a style you are interested in.

3. For labels, tags and coasters, the next page that pops up is where you choose the shape. Pay close attention to the text just below the example image that tells you the actual dimensions of that item. When you have found the size you want, click on it.

4. This brings you to a page displaying the style and shape you chose, giving you many color choices. Click on the color you want.

5. This brings you to the Order Page where you enter your text and select the quantity. On this page the "How Many" drop-down menu will show exact pricing. You may see optional matching tags, coasters, seals, and/or text labels. When you have everything the way you want it, click on "Add to Cart" at the bottom of the page.

6. The View Cart or Order Verification Page comes up. Check your order carefully; you can make changes to your order on this page if necessary. The cart lets you go back to shop some more if you wish - it stores your items until you are ready to purchase. When you are ready to purchase, click on "Checkout" at the bottom of the page.

7. This brings you to step one of Checkout. Enter your email address and zip code. Be sure to add our email address - info@myownlabels.com - to your contacts or address book so we don't get tossed by your spam filter when sending your order confirmation and/or proof. After double-checking your email address, click "Continue".

8. In Checkout step two you will enter your shipping information. Again, you will see your Order Summary and have an opportunity to make changes. Check your shipping information carefully, then click "Continue". The shipping page will update to show your production and shipping options. Double-check the options you have selected, then click on "Review Order".

11. This brings you to the third step in Checkout. Please enter your billing address (if different from your shipping address) and payment information, and click on "Review Order".

12. The final checkout page shows you the contact, shipping and billing information you entered. You will also see your Order Summary. You can make changes to any information on this page if necessary. When you have carefully double-checked your shipping and payment information and are ready to submit your order, click on "Submit Order".

13. Your credit card transaction approval page is displayed. IMPORTANT: be sure to click "Click to Complete Your Order" ONLY ONCE. Your order has been placed! You will see a copy of your receipt. Also shown is the email address that you entered. Check this email address carefully; your receipt and proofs will be sent to this email address.
